Scaldacollo da uomo ai ferri Diagonal Stripes / knitted cowl for men, free pattern

Per chi desiderasse realizzare un sobrio scaldacollo da uomo, Diagonal Stripes è il modello giusto.
E' lavorato con i ferri circolari utilizzando esclusivamente i punti diritto e rovescio.

If you like an easy-to-wear cowl for your guys, here it is the Diagonal Stripes Cowl. 
It's knitted with circular needles using only knit and purl stitches.

OCCORRENTE
Io ho usato 150 grammi del filato  ROMEO di Laines du Nord 100% lana vergine (200g-300m).
I ferri consigliati sono 6/7 ma io ho lavorato con un ferro circolare 8 da 40 centimetri.
Un marcapunti, ago da lana, forbici.

SPIEGAZIONE

Montare 72 maglie con il metodo elastico (vedere il video  https://youtu.be/z_kMQ2oPt_4 )

Chiudere i punti in circolo e posizionare il marcapunti prima della maglia di inizio ferro.

Giri 1-6: lavorare a coste 2/2 ( due diritti-due rovesci) per tutto il ferro

Con il 7° giro si inizia la lavorazione a righe diagonali.
Giri 1 e 2: 4 diritti - (5 rovesci-1 diritto- 1 rovescio- 5 diritti) ripetere e terminare con 1 diritto
Giri 3 e 4: 5 diritti - (3 rovesci-3 diritti-1 rovescio -5 diritti)  ripetere e terminare con 1 rovescio
Giri 5 e 6: (1 rovescio 5 diritti) ripetere fino alla fine del ferro
Giri 7 e 8: 2 rovesci - (3 diritti- 1 rovescio- 5 diritti- 3 rovesci) ripetere e terminare con 1 rovescio
Giri 9 e 10: 3 rovesci- (1 diritto- 1 rovescio- 5 diritti- 5 rovesci) ripetere e terminare con 2 rovesci
Giri 11 e 12: 4 rovesci- (5 diritti- 7 rovesci) ripetere e terminare con 3 rovesci
Giri 13 e 14: 3 rovesci- (5 diritti- 1 rovescio- 1 diritto- 5 rovesci) ripetere e terminare con 2 rovesci
Giri 15 e 16: 2 rovesci- (5 diritti- 1 rovescio- 3 diritti- 3 rovesci) ripetere e terminare con 1 rovescio
Giri 17 e 18: (1 rovescio - 5 diritti) ripetere fino alla fine del ferro
Giri 19 e 20: 1 diritto- (1 rovescio- 3 diritti- 3 rovesci- 5 diritti) ripetere e terminare con 4 diritti
Giri 21 e 22: 2 diritti- (1 rovescio- 1 diritto- 5 rovesci- 5 diritti) ripetere e terminare con 3 diritti
Giri 23 e 24: 3 diritti- (7 rovesci- 5 diritti) ripetere e terminare con 2 diritti

Ripetere di nuovo i giri 1 a 24.

Lavorare di nuovo 6 giri a coste 2/2 ( due diritti-due rovesci) per tutto il ferro

Chiudere tutte le maglie, fermare il filo d'inizio e finale e nascondere le codine.

Il collo finito misura circa cm 34 in altezza e cm 47 circa di circonferenza centrale.


YOU'LL NEED
I used about 150 grams of ROMEO yarn by Laines du Nord 100% virgin wool (7ozs-328yds)
The suggested number of needles is 6/7 but I used a number 8 circular needle/ 40 cm long.
One stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors.

PATTERN
Cast on 72 sts with Elastic cast-on (view this video  https://youtu.be/z_kMQ2oPt_4    )
Close the stitches in round and place the stitch marker before the first stitch of the round.
Work 6 rounds  in 2x2 rib stitch (k2-p2) to the end of round.

Starting with diagonal stripes pattern:

Rounds 1 and 2: k4- (p5- k1- p1- k5) repeat - end with k1
Rounds 3 and 4: k5- (p3- k3- p1- k5) repeat - end with p1
Rounds 5 and 6: (p1-k5) repeat  to the end
Rounds 7 and 8: p2- (k3- p1- k5- p3) repeat - end with p1
Rounds 9 and 10: p3- (k1- p1- k5- p5) repeat - end with p2
Rounds 11 and 12: p4- (k5- p7) repeat - end with p3
Rounds 13 and 14: p3- (k5- p1- k1- p5) repeat - end with p2
Rounds 15 and 16: p2- (k5- p1- k3- p3) repeat - end with p1
Rounds 17 and 18: (p1- k5) repeat to the end
Rounds 19 and 20: k1- (p1- k3- p3- k5) repeat - end with k4
Rounds 21 and 22: k2- (p1- k1- p5- k5) repeat - end with k3
Rounds 23 and 24: k3- (p7- k5) repeat - end with  k2

Repeat again rounds 1 to 24

Work 6 rounds  in 2x2 rib stitch (k2-p2) to the end of round.
Bind off, sew yarn and weave in tales.

The height of the cowl is about cm 34; the circular width is about cm 47 on its central part.
