Punto a rilievo ai ferri per copertine e scaldacolli, spiegazione scritta / Embossed knitting stitch to make baby blankets and cowls, written pattern

Questo punto è proprio delizioso. Rende benissimo lavorato con il cotone e con la lana; sia con filati sottili che spessi. Non è difficile, parola di lilla!
Di seguito le spiegazioni scritte.

This is a very cute stitch. It's perfect knitted both with cotton and wool yarn; and it is gorgeous if you use thin or bulky yarns.

Il campione rosa è realizzato con ferri n.4 e filo in cotone, mentre quello senape è in lana lavorato con ferri n.8

The pink example was knitted with cotton yarn and mm 4 needles (US size 6).
The mustard-colored one was knitted with bulky wool yarn and mm8 needles (US size 11).

Per lavorare questo punto avrete bisogno anche di un ferretto ausiliario per tenere in sospeso le maglie.
I punti usati sono: diritto, rovescio,gettato

Punto petalo: lavorare nella stessa maglia 1 diritto, 1 gettato, 1 diritto
Lavorando le 3 maglie del petalo insieme a diritto inclinerete lo stesso verso destra; lavorandole a diritto ritorto l'inclinazione sarà a sinistra.

Lavorare con maglie multiple di 6+2

I campioni sono stati lavorati con 32 maglie e due ripetizioni del punto (all'inizio ho fatto due ferri al diritto).

Montare il numero di maglie necessarie al lavoro che volete eseguire.

Ferro 1(diritto del lavoro): 3 diritti-1 petalo(lavorare nella stessa maglia 1 diritto, 1 gettato, 1 diritto)x2volte-*4 diritti-1 petalo(lavorare nella stessa maglia 1 diritto, 1 gettato, 1 diritto)x2volte*-rip **-terminare con 3 diritti

Ferro 2 (rovescio del lavoro): 3 rovesci-*lasciare il filo sul davanti e passare le 6 maglie dei due petali sul ferro di destra senza lavorarle-4 rovesci (non tendete troppo il filo)*-rip **-terminare con 3 rovesci.

Ferro 3: 1 diritto- *mettere due maglie in sospeso sul retro del lavoro- lavorare le 3 maglie del petalo insieme a diritto- a diritto le 2 maglie in sospeso-mettere in sospeso le 3 maglie del petalo-a diritto le 2 maglie successive- lavorare insieme a diritto ritorto (prendendo le maglie da dietro) le 3 maglie del petalo*-rip**-terrminare con 1 diritto.

Ferro 4: tutto a rovescio.

Ferro 5: 1 diritto- 1 petalo(lavorare nella stessa maglia 1 diritto, 1 gettato, 1 diritto)-*4 diritti-2 petali*-rip** e terminare con 1 petalo e 1 diritto.

Ferro 6: 1 rovescio-lasciare il filo sul davanti e passare le 3 maglie del petalo senza lavorarle-4 rovesci-*lasciare il filo sul davanti e passare le 6 maglie dei due petali senza lavorarle-4 rovesci*-rip**- terminare passando le 3 maglie dell'ultimo petalo e lavorando 1 rovescio.

Ferro 7: 1 diritto-*mettere il petalo in sospeso sul davanti-2 diritti-insieme a diritto ritorto le 3 maglie del petalo in sospeso-2 maglie in sospeso dietro-insieme a diritto le 3 maglie del petalo successivo-a diritto le 2 maglie in sospeso*-rip**e terminare con 1 diritto.

Ferro 8: tutto a rovescio.

Ripetere i ferri da 1 a 8 fino a ottenere l'altezza desiderata.

ENGLISH PATTERN

For this pattern you'll need a cable needle.

Stitches: knit-purl-yarn over

Petal stitch: in the same stitch, k1-yarn over-k1

When you knit togheter the 3 stitches of the petal st. you'll tilt the petal to the right; knitting in back loops the petal will be tilted to the left.

Cast on multiple of 6+2, according to what you desire to knit.

The examples I showed you before were knitted both with 32 stitches and 2 repetition of the pattern. I started with a garter stitch.

Row 1 (front of work): k3-make 2 petals (k1-yo-k1 in the same st)x2-*k4-make2 petals*- rep**end with k3

Row 2: p3- *with yarn in front slip 6 sts of the two petals to the wright needle without working them-p4*-rep-**end with p3

Row 3: k1-*with cable needle hold to back 2 sts-k3 tog the following petal sts-k the 2 sts on the cn-hold to front the 3 sts of next petal-k2-k3 tog in the back loops the  petal on cn*- rep** end with k1

Row 4: purl across

Row 5: k1-make 1 petal-k4-*make 2 petals-k4*-rep**-end with 1 petal-k1

Row 6: p1-with yarn in front slip 3 sts of the petal to wright needle without working them-p4-*with yarn in front slip 6 sts of the two petals to the wright needle without working them-p4*-rep-**end slipping the 3 sts of the last petal and p1.

Row 7: k1- *hold to front the petal-k2-k3 tog in the back loops the  petal on cn-hold to back 2 sts-k3 tog the following petal sts-k the 2sts on the cn-*rep **- end with k1

Row 8: purl across.

Repeat rows 1-8 to the desired size.
